In the original arcade release of Tekken 7, Devil Jin's Rage Art was exactly the same as his Critical Edge from Soulcalibur V but with an extra hit at the end (where he throws the opponent across the ground then hits them with a second laser).It is possible to create Jin Kazama in Soulcalibur III, along with his father Kazuya Mishima.He shares the same guard impact animation as Heihachi, his grandfather.After the release of the pack, players can use the Jin Kazama outfit included in the DLC to recreate a resembling Devil Jin. The Create-A-Soul Formula of his first appearance can be found here. Before the release of the Tekken Costumes Pack, it was already possible to recreate Devil Jin, as some clothing parts do resemble his default appearance.In order to use it, the player must first unlock it by defeating Harada_TEKKEN in Quick Battle mode, or by reaching Player Level 5. His fighting style is exclusive to custom characters.
Devil Jin is also the 4th character to use and have wings, the other characters before him being Night Terror, Aeon Calcos, and Elysium.In Tekken, Devil Jin will always have wings on his back, but in Soulcalibur V, characters using his style will only have visible wings during certain attacks.Defeating him is one of the ways this style can be unlocked. The character Harada_TEKKEN based on Katsuhiro Harada producer of both the Soul series and Tekken series, uses the Devil Jin fighting style.Devil Jin can be almost perfectly re-created, thanks to numerous parts of his outfit, and the Soul of Devil Jin style being available.This Critical Edge is useful when performing juggles since the move begins somewhat in the air first. The custom character starts to spread his/her wings (similar to Elysium) and starts a diving kick at the opponent that launches them in the air twice until the custom character begins to do a powerful eye laser beam Devil Blaster and performs a grab move that slams the opponent to the ground which is similar to one of Algol's moves. It is banned from tournaments.ĭemon Laser Cannon: The Demon Laser Cannon is the Devil Jin fighting style Critical Edge signature move. Overall the range is quite short and the style is only available for only customs characters. Prior of using the "Tempered Fists" the style also allows the player to perform laser beams from the eyes and flight movement similar to Kratos and Aeon. The fighting style is based on his Tekken 6 moveset where he can perform very powerful but yet difficult devastating combos that leads to very punishing damage that rivals Nightmare in terms of sheer force against the opponent. The Devil Jin fighting style is the second weaponless fighting style since Soulcalibur II with Heihachi.
